Computer Science and Web Development Tutor during National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), teaching secondary school students fundamental programming and web development concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Curriculum

  • Taught computer science and introductory web development to secondary school students
  • Covered HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, and introduction to Golang and simple backend concepts
  • Used practical examples and small projects to explain how websites and backend services work
  • Helped students connect classroom theory to how software is actually built in the real world

  • Supported students preparing for WAEC and other exams
  • Assisted with academic work across various subjects as part of the national service year
  • Mentored students interested in pursuing technology careers

Impact

Through hands-on teaching and practical demonstrations, I helped students understand the fundamentals of web development and sparked interest in software engineering among young learners in Nigeria.
